Our School is a member of the Diocese of Saint Albans and as a Church of England Academy, we align our ethos and aims with that of the Church of England's Vision for Education. This can be viewed by clicking here or a summary 'vision in your hand' document can be seen below.
At Cranfield Church of England Academy, our Christian vision aspires for all members of our family to live life in all its fullness by: being immersed in enjoyment, achievement and learning, aspiring to greatness in all its forms, flourishing in the process, being upheld and motivated in our journeys by a Christian, values-based education and living God’s love as a part of every day. As a staff, we reflect on this vision regularly and use it to drive our proud Church school ever forwards. Recently, we thought about what this ‘vision’ will mean for our children and their lived reality in our school.
In the video below, a friend of our school shares what life in all its fullness means in the hope that each one of us can consider what it means for us as individuals, what it means for our role in the school community and, how it impacts on our whole existence.
Different translations of the bible offer us alternative wordings of 'life in all its fullness'. By exploring these, we are offered opportunity to better understand the meaning of our Christian Vision. Which version do you prefer?
