Mrs Lisa Munday - Headteacher
I am very privileged to be the Headteacher of Cranfield Church of England Academy. All the decisions we make will always be about the children - they will always come first. I went into teaching to make a difference and improve the lives of young people. Children get one primary education and it must be the best we can provide.
Mrs Leanne Briers- Deputy Headteacher:
I am delighted to have joined Cranfield Church of England Academy as a Deputy Headteacher. Throughout my teaching career, I have undertaken many different roles including, Year Group Leader and Key Stage Leader. Teaching for me is a passion and I believe strongly in what we do. I am committed to ensuring that all children receive high-quality education that is enriching, challenging and nurturing, whilst allowing them to develop their own sense of self. I believe it is a privilege to have the opportunity to help shape children’s primary school experience and make it the very best it can be.
Mr Conor McCaffrey - Deputy Headteacher:
Mrs Lisa Edmond - Senior Leader with responsibility for Reception:
I am delighted to be the Reception leader at Cranfield. Having taught elsewhere for over 12 years I joined Cranfield as a Reception class teacher. I quickly discovered a passion for working with some of the youngest children in our school, so am delighted to be the Reception Leader.
Miss Helen Galvin - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year One:
I joined Cranfield Church of England Academy in 2020 and from my first week I felt welcomed and knew I had found a very special school. I was truly impressed with how the children and staff embraced their Cranfield values, showing pride in their learning and achievements. I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential: academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Before I was a teacher, I worked with young carers and when I joined Cranfield I felt that it was important for young carers to be recognised and supported. I set up Boost Club, specifically for young carers, giving them an opportunity to have fun and connect with other young carers in our school. It's an absolute privilege to be a teacher and leader at Cranfield Academy, supporting children to enjoy, achieve and learn!
Mrs Emma Massey - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Two:
I joined Cranfield Academy in 2014 and have enjoyed every moment enjoying, achieving and learning with the children. Having taught for 18 years in Wales and England, Cranfield Academy is positively unique – ‘Cranfield is certainly the place to be’! I am passionate about supporting each child to fulfil their potential to become the best they can be, in all that they do. It is such a rewarding role watching the children flourish and learn from the experiences and opportunities that our wonderful school provides daily.
Mr Dale Drewe - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Three:
I am really pleased to have joined Cranfield Church of England Academy. From my initial tour of the school, I knew very early on that Cranfield Church of England Academy was a remarkable school that had a very warm, welcoming feel to it. It was clear to me that the school put the children at the heart of every decision they make and ensures that each child has the best primary experience possible.
I came into teaching to make a key difference in the lives of each child I teach by making learning fun, achievable and memorable. I am passionate in ensuring that each child reaches their full potential whilst developing a love of learning simultaneously. Over the course of my career, I have had a number of different roles, which include: Head of Year, Reading Lead, Maths Lead, Curriculum Lead and Vice Principal. The majority of my teaching experience has been working within years 3-6 and I am delighted to be working as the Year 3 Lead.
Miss Stephanie Hubbert - Senior Leader with responsibility for Year Four:
From the day I began my second year of teacher training at Cranfield Academy I knew it was the school I wanted to work at; I feel very privileged to have worked across Key Stage One and Two. I've had the pleasure of training and working with a brilliant and supportive team. I am passionate about trying new ideas and engaging children to ensure they achieve their full potential.
